Atea Kalmarmilen

An established mile race in Kalmar where both recreational runners and elite athletes participate. The 2026 edition also counts as Swedish Championships (DM) and regional championships (VDM) for East Sweden. The race runs through beautiful Kalmar environments, starting at Teatervallen, passing Kalmar Castle, Stensö, Old Town, the harbor, Fredrikskans, Lindö, Ängö, and returning to the finish at Larmtorget.
